Update on Ron Cantelon, MLA Parksville-Qualicum

VICTORIA – Ron Cantelon, MLA for Parksville-Qualicum, is resting comfortably at home after suffering a heart attack in Victoria last week.

Following the incident, Cantelon underwent two separate procedures at Royal Jubilee Hospital in Victoria with two stents inserted to assist in his recovery.

Ron continues to recuperate and no definite date has been set for his return to a full work schedule.

Ron thanks all those who have sent well-wishes and extends his sincere gratitude to the doctors and nurses at Royal Jubilee Hospital for their outstanding care.
