Statement on Ron Cantelon, MLA Parksville-Qualicum

VICTORIA – Gordon Hogg, BC Government Caucus Chair released the following statement today:

“Ron Cantelon, MLA for Parksville-Qualicum, suffered a heart attack in Victoria earlier this week. Ron is receiving excellent care at Royal Jubilee Hospital in Victoria, and he is in stable condition.

“It’s too early to speculate about when Ron will be able to resume his full schedule.

“During this time, the family is asking for privacy, and our thoughts and prayers and best wishes are with Ron and his family.”
