Bell Walk For Kids
On May 7 of this year I took part, along with the member opposite from Nanaimo, in the fifth annual Bell Walk for Kids Help Phone event. The help phone line is a vital service to our young people aged five to 20 in crisis.

Mining in B.C
British Columbia has a rich history of mining, particularly on Vancouver Island. My riding of Nanaimo benefited immensely by the hard work done by miners, and the people who made up the industry played a key role in the development of the mid-Island.
